About Us
About Us: Payfixation Gov BD – অনলাইন পেনশন নির্ধারণ
Welcome to Payfixation Gov BD (payfixationgovbd.online), the official digital gateway of the Government of Bangladesh for managing pay fixation, salary determination, and pension services for public sector employees. As a cornerstone of the nation’s human resource management infrastructure, our platform streamlines the complex processes of basic salary adjustments, annual increments, and pension re-fixation, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and efficiency for over 1.4 million active employees and 900,000 pensioners.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a centralized, secure, and user-friendly online system that automates pay determination and pension administration for all government servants. By integrating seamlessly with iBAS++ (the Integrated Budget and Accounting System) and the Finance Division’s financial management framework, we aim to eliminate manual errors, reduce processing delays, and empower employees and pensioners with real-time access to their salary and pension data. We are committed to supporting the phased implementation of the new national pay scale for the 2026-27 fiscal year, which increases basic salaries across all grades by approximately two to two-and-a-half times, with an annual expenditure of Tk 1.31 trillion.
Our Values
- Transparency: We ensure every pay fixation, increment, and pension adjustment is recorded and verifiable through a clear audit trail, fostering trust among employees, pensioners, and institutional stakeholders.
- Accuracy: Our system leverages automated calculations based on National Pay Commission recommendations, eliminating manual errors in basic pay, grade/scale, and annual increment processing.
- Security: We protect sensitive data—including 17-digit National IDs (NID), PPO books, and mobile numbers—through robust verification protocols, requiring a valid NID and verification code for login.
- Inclusivity: We serve all civil servants, government employees, and pensioners, ensuring that even those in remote areas can access pension re-fixation and electronic fund transfers (EFT) via SMS notifications.
- Efficiency: By digitizing processes such as annual increments (typically applied on July 1st) and major pay structure revisions, we reduce bureaucratic delays and support timely salary and pension disbursements.
Our History
The journey of Payfixation Gov BD began as a response to the growing need for a unified digital platform to manage the pay and pension lifecycle of Bangladesh’s public sector workforce. Initially, pay fixation was handled manually through paper-based records, leading to inconsistencies and delays. Recognizing the need for modernization, the Finance Ministry, in collaboration with the National Pay Commission and Accounts Offices, launched the online portal as a critical component of the national human resource management infrastructure.
Over the years, the platform has evolved to integrate deeply with iBAS++, enabling real-time data synchronization for salary management and pension services. A major milestone came with the introduction of the 17-digit NID-based login system, which enhanced security and personalized access for each user. In the 2026-27 fiscal year, the platform is playing a pivotal role in the phased rollout of the new national pay scale, which raises basic salaries across all grades by roughly two to two-and-a-half times. This revision impacts over 1.4 million active employees and 900,000 pensioners, with an annual expenditure of Tk 1.31 trillion. The system now facilitates pension re-fixation and re-determination by allowing pensioners to submit their NID, PPO book, and mobile number to their accounts office, which then uploads the data to enable EFT and SMS notifications.
Today, Payfixation Gov BD stands as a testament to the government’s commitment to digital transformation, ensuring that every government servant and pensioner receives accurate, timely, and transparent pay and pension services. We continue to innovate, guided by the principles of efficiency and inclusivity, to meet the evolving needs of Bangladesh’s public sector.
